Fame and Glory

Any horse out of Montjeu is worth watching, although not usually so early on in the year. Fame and Glory, Aiden O'Brien's hot favourite for the Investec Derby, is unbeaten in four attempts, with a career total of over £250,000 winnings. Impressive? Yes, and there's little to persuade the keen-eyed punter that Fame and Glory isn't going to put up a decent performance at Epsom. After having beaten John Oxx's second-best horse, there's reason to suspect he'll take on Sea The Stars with confidence. The drift in price is strange - but so is the money going on Rip Van Winkle. I'd take this one at 3/1, never mind 4/1.
